Mûre was founded by chef Jordan Latour, whose love of cooking began around the family table.

Inspired by his grandmother and shaped by more than two decades working in professional kitchens, Jordan believes the best meals are about more than what’s on the plate. They’re about slowing down, sharing stories and creating moments that people remember long after the last course has been served.

Today, Mûre creates bespoke catering and private dining experiences across Byron Bay, the Northern Rivers and beyond. Every menu is designed from scratch, drawing on seasonal produce, local suppliers and the unique style of each event.

We take the time to understand what you’re celebrating, how you want your guests to gather and the kind of experience you want to create. From there, Jordan designs a menu that’s entirely bespoke, built around seasonal ingredients, thoughtful cooking and your vision for the day.

Local produce that’s always thoughtfully sourced

We work closely with local growers, producers and suppliers whenever possible, sourcing beautiful ingredients from across the Northern Rivers and beyond. Wherever your event is held, we’ll always look to source produce as close to your celebration as we can.

Meet the people behind Mûre

Jordan is the chef behind every Mûre menu, bringing over 20 years of culinary experience and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.

His partner, Steph, is the founder of Blossom Gatherings and one of the Northern Rivers’ most experienced wedding planners. While Mûre and Blossom Gatherings operate as separate businesses, they often work alongside one another to create seamless celebrations where exceptional food and thoughtful planning come together.

Behind every event is a trusted team of chefs, wait staff and bar professionals who share the same commitment to warm hospitality and exceptional service. Whether we’re catering an intimate dinner or a large-scale wedding, every member of the team plays a part in creating an experience that feels effortless from beginning to end.
